Doors

From the simplest ledged, braced and battened door to the more complicated panelled door, Norton Joinery Ltd can produce the correct door for any given situation. The careful selection of timber, combined with traditional mortice and tennon joints and the use of pressure impregnated preservative combine to give a long lasting product.

Construction
Constructed using mortice and tennon joints throughout by apprentice trained craftsmen using the best available materials and the latest machinery.

Timber
Any suitable commercially available softwood or hardwood.

Preservative
Double vacuum pressure impregnated with Protim 418 preservative to BS 5589.

Moulding Detail
Numerous standard moulding sections are available for the stiles and rails.
Panels can be flat or raised with either plant moulds or bolection moulds.

Glazing
Glazing apertures can be factory glazed with either clear or patterned toughened double glazed units to conform to current Building Regulations.
