We manufacture and install a comprehensive range of timber windows to suit any property. These include casement windows, stormproof windows, vertical sliding sash windows and Yorkshire light windows.
Different types of window we can produce:
Casement windows are characterised by opening sashes that close into the frame and finish flush with the front face of the window frame.
All casement windows are fitted with compression weatherseals and can have the opening sashes hung on butt hinges and fitted with traditional locking stays and fasteners, or friction hinges with multi-point locking systems and locking fasteners.
Stormproof windows feature rebated opening sashes which lip over the front face of the window frame giving excellent weather protection.

Vertical sliding sash windows are supplied with traditional lead weights and pulleys, or modern spiral balance mechanisms.
The traditional weighted windows have the opening sashes counterbalanced by lead weights which provide just the right amount of counter balance to support the sash so that the window can be smoothly opened.
The spiral balance mechanisms give a modern and more cost effective alternative to lead sash weights. We use pre-tensioned spiral balances to counter balance the sash, holding it in any position.
Both types of windows have the perimeter of the sashes and the staff beads fitted with weatherseals and opening sashes are fitted with locking fitch fasteners.
The Yorkshire light window is a very simple traditional design. One sash slides horizontally with no mechanism to assist the opening.
Windows are fitted with weatherseals around the perimeter of the sashes and the staff beads and slide on concealed rollers which run on a plastic runner to allow them to open smoothly.
